Blackstone Plumbing & Heating Ltd Terms and Conditions

For all jobs up to the value of £500, Blackstone Plumbing & Heating Ltd will require a full deposit to be paid in advance of works being carried out (non-refundable). This amount will be agreed and settled before commencement of any works.

For jobs over £500, Blackstone Plumbing & Heating Ltd will require a minimum 50% deposit to be paid before the commencement of works (non-refundable). The remainder of any costs will be payable via debit or credit card on site once works are complete unless otherwise agreed. For larger and/or higher priced jobs, we may require a larger initial deposit and further stage payments throughout the duration of works (to be agreed in advance). Any late payments will incur a fee.

Blackstone Plumbing & Heating Ltd reserves the right to change our prices and availability at any time. Prices and availability are also subject to change on weekends and Holidays. 

Blackstone Plumbing & Heating Ltd does not accept cheques. 

All estimates provided are accurate at the time of being provided and are an estimation of price for works necessary to complete a job, but may not be a definitive list of all works required and are subject to change. Should unforeseen circumstances present themselves throughout the duration of a job which incur further costs or time, or if additional materials are required which have not been included in the estimate, additional charges will be applied to the original estimate price. If the purchase cost of any materials listed on the estimate rises above 3% between the date of the estimate and the works begin carried out, these increased costs will also be charged at an additional rate. 

Waste removal is not included on any job and will be charged at an additional cost, unless otherwise stated on the estimate or invoice. Blackstone Plumbing & Heating Ltd will not be responsible for carrying out any making good eg. plastering or painting following works that we have conducted, unless otherwise stated on the estimate or invoice. 

Should any materials/items that Blackstone Plumbing & Heating Ltd install fail as a result of a part malfunctioning or breaking, an advance payment will be required for a further visit for the labour to repair/replace the part. All materials/items installed by ourselves remain the property of Blackstone Plumbing & Heating Ltd until the job is paid in its entirety – we reserve the right to remove any materials/items installed until such time as the job is paid in full.

If Blackstone Plumbing & Heating Ltd is required to re-attend to a job for a recall and it is found that a separate issue has presented itself that is causing the problem, an additional charge will be applied for re-attendance. 

Should any disruption be caused by the customer preventing free access to site or stopping any works being carried out for any reason, an additional charge may be applied. Furthermore, should Blackstone Plumbing & Heating Ltd encounter any hostility or abusive behaviour at any point during works being carried out or throughout any communications sent or received, we reserve the right to refuse the completion or continuance of any and all works, and charges for materials purchased, time and labour may still be applied. 

Any verbal or written agreement in acceptance of Blackstone Plumbing & Heating Ltd to commence works, and/or an agreement of the terms laid out herein, will be taken as contractual and will allow these terms to come into effect. Should any of the terms be broken by the customer we reserve the right to withdraw from the job at any time, and charges for materials purchased and time and labour may still be applied.
